Breathe and take the first step

BREATHE AND TAKE THE FIRST STEP…

Change requires attempts they may not be great at first any writer’s first drafts can be terrible but with consistency and practice the writing improves and confidence naturally starts to grow. Lack of confidence may cause many to stall on a new idea but confidence is earned and gained from the actual trying.

Attaching too much to the outcome stalls the action.

When learning to ride a bike or learning to swim the wobbles and splashing around is part of the process but in other tasks, the uncertainty feels uncomfortable and thus we retreat to playing safe.
Confidence comes from trying, modifying, and retrying. Learning to trust that actions, behaviours, and thoughts mesh together maybe not at first but over time. Do we give ourselves enough time to improve and confidence to build before a label of can’t do this is stamped upon task. We encourage others more easily than we encourage and support our own endeavours. Confidence is on the other side of fear.

The River of fear can be crossed by –

• Creating a vision off the outcome and what it would mean to you.
• Starting small towards the goal
• Researching and increasing our knowledge along the way.
• Ask for help and guidance we are in age of information with plethora of resources to learn and
skill up at our finger tips.
• Give your self time to improve and generate a more supportive inner self narrative.
